Another opportunity presented itself to give the public an introduction to neuroscience. Gateshead Library hosted an eFair and I was asked whether I would like to set up a demo.
I had quite a few visitors and didn’t get much chance to have lunch or something to drink. It was all worth it though because as usual both parents and kids were fascinated by being able to hear and see the messages from the brain to the muscles.

Even dad has to take a picture of this as the lad discovers the neural messages that instructs his hand to move.

The demo was visited by the photographer from the Chronicle Live. We made it to their website: ChronicleLive
