I had the privilege of visiting the A level Biology class at Framwellgate School in Durham to show them what real nerve impulses look like. We tried some basic experiments with grasshopper legs and an earth worm and managed to see some beautiful spikes from both. The students also used the EMG Spikerboxes to see their own neurons in action.
